Apply to have your say in autism research

Project partners know that while some people want a cure for themselves, their child or a relative, there are others who are opposed to this. AIMS-2-TRIALS does not aim to cure autism. Partners do aim to understand autism better and to test medical treatments that could alleviate specific difficulties that some autistic people experience.
https://www. aims-2-trials.eu/about-us/team/autism-representatives/ :
We are looking for people willing and able to commit to engaging in 1-4 discussions per year on research and policy for the next 4.5 years. [...] The groups will discuss and provide feedback on the subject(s) that most interest them, such as:
- Research ethics
- Science communication
- Policy development
- Training for researchers and clinicians designed by the autism community
- Developing outcome measures
